Toilet Paper Tantrum

I'm frustrated that Charmin, Bounty and Cottonelle give cheapy coupons. Saving $0.25 isn't exactly a great deal. So for those of you who have been able to use these coupons well, please share. Is it best to get the smallest pkg? Which stores tend to have the best prices on these products in general? Wal-Mart normal pricing? or Albertson's/Walgreen's sales? (sigh) Too bad you can't live hygeinically correct without toilet paper - 'cause it's a pain.

PYP says that you do get better deals if you buy the smallest package. Has anyone price out costco paper towels and toilet paper?

I've used the 25 cent coupons a few times on packs of 4 pk toilet paper. However, the best coupons I've found are the $1/1 scott coupons. It says any size pkg 4 pack or larger (even though it pictures the bigger pack)and Albertsons and Smiths frequently has the scott 4 packs for 10/10. That means you get toilet paper free! If you have 10 coupons that is 40 rolls of toilet paper free. Granted, they are the smaller and thinner kind, but who can argue w/free? I think it was cottenelle that had $.75/1 coupons awhile back and the 4 pk came on sale for $1 so it ended up being $.25 for a 4 pk.

Cottonelle is always .99 at Smiths....sure it is the cheaper kind, but that is what I put in the kids bathroom because they are more wasteful then I am and they don't care how cheap it is!
