Ok, my first foray into this sort of grocery shopping. Saved $90. Trying not to get Coupon Fever, though, because I know that $90 represents things I would not have ordinarily purchased (ie all of that free soda, the full purchase price of brand name cereals etc.). I wonder what the actual savings to my grocery budget was? Or did I just get better cereal for my $? (I just love brand name cereal...the off brands are such a let down :-) Anyhow, those are my musings on purchasing to the sale/coupon. I'm sure once I get more savvy I will see more actual budget savings.
