Yes to the back of Bloomington hills elementary there is a bin, there is one in Harmons parking lot as well as all other recycling bins, there are tons at both hospitals.

The Spectrum had an article about recycling today and said recycling locations could be found at www.wcsw.org/recycling.

Oh so glad you asked....my husband is the recycling man. What I mean is, it was his project. He started the recycling program here in Washington County. So glad you are interested. Not only can you recycle your newspapers, but you can recycle glass, plastic, metal and paper. This includes all your cereal boxes, soup cans, the plastic bag your newspaper comes in. Please use the recycle bins. Any money made from the sell of the items collected will go back into your community. Each city decides where that money will go. I believe Ivins uses it for their animal shelter, while some cities are using it to improve the parks and trails! Glad you're interested! Oh yeah, and the article in the spectrum had a little mistake. It said that you had $.50 added to your bill to pay for this, that is not true. The money was already part of your bill, it has been for many years (I think like 20, but don't quote me on that) You bill was not raised to pay for this program!
