Beer Rebate at Albertsons on Sunset
There is currently a beer rebate available at Albertsons on Sunset. It is located on top of the cooler that holds the beer near the cheese. This rebate says that if you buy $30 in chips, soda, deli items etc. you will get $7.50 in rebate.
Here are a few tips: in the state of Utah it can not be a requirement to purchase beer, so all beer rebates in Utah are alcohol free purchases.
If you submit a beer rebate, remember to circle the before coupon price. For example: if I buy $25 in chips, but have $10 in coupons, I circle on the receipt the $25. A coupon is just a way to pay for the chips!
Also, cheese is a deli item. You can get the blocks of cheese, which are currently on sale with the in ad coupon at Albertsons. It doesn't have to be the sliced cheese from the deli section! If you have trouble finding the beer receipt let me know.

KB Toys going out of business!
KB Toys at the Outlet is going out of business and everything in the store is 60% off. (Even the marked down toys are an additional 60% off!) I went today and bought a few things for a great price!

Kool-Aid juice boxes - $0.75/package (10 boxes/package)
Walmart has their Kool-Aid Jammers on a clearance rack for $0.75 each (each package has 10 juice boxes). It is on a rack in the middle of the aisle, between the milk and the butter.
The rack also had babyfood jars for $0.25 each (sorry, I didn't look to see what kinds of baby food).

Albies Quaker Sale
Does anyone know if the Quaker breakfast bars and Oatmeal Squares cereal will also be on sale? I've got coupons for them and would love to get the goodness in them for a great price -- if ya know what I mean. :) Maybe it's one of those unadvertised things?

Coupon Class Jan 13th
Shelley, a lady from Ivins, found this blog and has been making posts and comments. She has been a successful couponer and is teaching a class tomorrow evening at their church in Ivins. Here is the info if you'd like to attend:
"I will be holding a coupon class on Tuesday, January 13th, at 7:15 pm at the Padre Canyon LDS church. Anyone is welcome to attend. From St. George take Snow Canyon Parkway towards Ivins. The chapel is the red church on the right hand side of the road after you enter Ivins (you will pass the turnoff to Tuacahn). We will be discussing the basics of couponing, where I get my best coupons and beer rebates. It will be a fun night, complete with games and prizes!"

Hey, I went to Albertsons early this morning, thinking they'd restocked last night only to find out I was wrong. You coupon experts probably already know, but just in case... Albertsons restocks on Sunday and Thursday nights, so the best shopping days would be Mondays and Fridays! -- Keep on couponing!

Quaker Oatmeal
I went to Wallgreens today to try and get their oatmeal and of course it was all out. So I went to Albertsons on Sunset and was just browsing when I saw a Blinky (is that what their called?). Anyway, it was for a dollar off the Quaker low sugar oatmeal and high fiber oatmeal. I got the low sugar because it still comes in the variety flavors and who doesn't like their kids to have less sugar anyway?! It's originally 4.39, on sale for 2.00 and then with the coupon it's 1.00. Better than the Wallgreens deal. Yea!
