I just came back with 6 foundations, 3 mascaras, and 3 eyeliners, all for just $3.16 (tax). I asked the clerk about it, and she said they normally don't apply the B1G1F coupons, but this time they are. There are still some good color options for the foundations, but even if they don't have the color you normally use, still go in to get the free eyeliner or other makeup you choose.

Play Kitchen Up for Grabs!

Rumors . . .

We heard a rumor that the Bloomington WalMart is closing and a Sam's club will be replacing it. Whether it's true or not, who knows. BUT -- If you check their clearance section (in the gardening area) every few days, you may find some treasures. I've found girls and boys outfits and shoes for $1-$4, Children's Tylenol for $5 (among other pharmacy items), and a mad assortment of toys. A game I've been looking for that retailed at $20-$25 I found today for $10. There is also bedding, clocks, and swimming gear. Happy Hunting!

Baby Build-up

Oust Air Santizer - want them for free?

I have 8 cans of Oust Air Sanitizer (4 of the Meadow Scent and 4 of the Clean Scent) that I don't want (I just picked up some Glade air sanitizer for cheap, and I just like those scents so much better). Does anyone want them (for free of course)? Just let me know!

Cheap Pampers

The Albertson's on Bluff currently has some Pampers on clearance for $6 a bag. There were some size 5 & 6 left tonight - maybe other sizes too, I didn't look too closely. If you double a $1 coupon then they're $4 a bag!! They're in a shopping cart near the produce section. Hope this helps someone.

Smiths doubles - coupon value up to $1.00

I'm sorry, I heard wrong about the Smith's sale...when I called Smith's,I asked if they were doubling coupons up to $2.00, and the lady said yes. I took that to mean that they were doubling coupons that had a $2.00 value (thereby making it $4.) But I think it's actually just coupons up to $1.00. I'm sorry for any confusion and hassle my earlier post caused!!

I just called Smiths to verify - they are doubling coupons up to $1.00 through tomorrow (Tues)! Also, Albertsons is having a pretty good deal that started yesterday, going through the 8th - check out PYP for the list of items (spend $30, get $15 catalina for your next order).

Twice the Values!!!

So I'm leaving for Orlando tomorrow. 'Course they had to put out a good sale at Albies starting today with coupon doublers. But this means that though I lose out, you could win!! I won't be able to use them. I want to - but I won't be here. So if you want them, come and get them. I'll be home until about 3 p.m. tomorrow. I have 8 doublers.

Anyone need an old printer?

Does anyone not have a printer? It's like seven years old, but it's been a good one. It's an all-in-one, but the fax/scan/copy has quit so it only prints now (color & B/W). It is older, so it doesn't print at "top" quality, but the only time I ever notice is in printing photos, the rest of the time it's great. We just got a new one and I thought a while back someone told me they didn't have a printer, so I'm offering free it to a "good home" (: Give me a call if you can use it.

Coy Catalinas

I discovered today that the register rewards at Walgreens don't print if you use a coupon to get them. For example: Bought Gillette Fusion at $9.49 with register rewards for $2.50. I couldn't combine that transaction with my Huggies purchase because I was using a coupon for the Huggies. I had to do two separate transactions to get the catalina to print. I then went to another Walgreens on my way home to purchase a Venus Embrace razor. It was the same register reward deal as the Fusion. I figured I could use my previous register rewards toward this and still get my catalina. (Don't ask why I thought that. It now makes no sense.) Didn't work. I think this is a crummy deal. Combining coupons with catalinas used to be great and the store still got their money from the coupon. I wash my hands of the situation, but I'll have a lot fewer reasons to go to Walgreens from now on.

Free Windex Wipes

I was going throughy my coupon inserts, and in case you didn't notice, in the SS insert from either 5/3 or 5/10 (sorry, I got my coupons mixed up during those two weeks, so I'm not exactly sure which one it came in), there is a coupon for a free canister of windex wipes or windex antibacterial trigger with mail in rebate (up to 4.50 value). The purchase must be made between before 6/21/09.

Update - UT stores not participating: K-Mart double coupon sale

Supposedly, Kmart is having a double coupon sale week, starting today 6/7 and going through 6/13. On Krazy Coupon Lady, she posted the following from K-mart's corporate:

Straight from KMart: "All stores except locations in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, and select stores in CA, FL, IN, and PA are participating. The stores will only be accepting 10 coupons per customer per day."

I have read on random blogs that this was an unadvertised sale, which is why you didn't see it on the weekly flyer today. However, even if the cashiers are not aware of the sale, the cash registers are supposed to already be set up to automatically double your coupon value, up to $2.
